Designed around life on board

The fit comes first
Edge positions, fixing points and the shape of the canvas are planned together. Seams and reinforcements are considered for the intended use. The aim is a coherent addition that gives useful coverage without making normal access awkward.
Balancing sun, water and practicality
Marine fabric selection involves more than colour. Manufacturer information on UV performance, water resistance and care matters too. Water repellency is not the same as complete waterproofing; seams and the installed shape also affect the result.
Easy to live with
Removal, folding and storage should be considered before the awning is made. Operating limits need to match the particular installation and boat. A single wind limit or cruising speed cannot be assumed to suit every awning.
