A softer layer for everyday use.
A towelling cover is a separate textile layer over the existing upholstery. It changes the contact surface while sitting or sunbathing. Following the cushion shape aims for a more fitted arrangement than a loose towel.

Tailored around each cushion
Corners, backrests, thickness and adjoining pieces inform the pattern. Discuss fitting and retention for a cover that will be removed frequently. The upper layer can be made without replacing the existing cushions.
Different from a weather cover
Towelling provides an additional surface during use; it is not a closed rain cover. If seating needs protection from the weather between uses, consider a separate protective cover. Treating both products as identical creates the wrong expectation.
Colour, texture and routine
The light and dark examples in our photographs accompany different seating arrangements. Fibre content, texture and care requirements must be verified for the selected material. Appearance alone does not establish the properties of every towelling fabric.
Washing and refitting
Removability does not automatically mean machine washing is suitable. Temperature, drying and shrinkage allowances depend on the chosen fabric. Check the cover and cushion separately for dryness.
